To support our continued growth in North America, we are looking for a Technical Trainer who will play a key role in training and supporting our fabricator network across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Location: United States (with extensive travel across the US, Canada & Mexico)
(we have an office in Toronto (CA) and Charlotte (US), but you can also work from home)
What are we looking for?
As a Technical Trainer – North America, you will combine theory and hands-on practice to help our customers successfully fabricate Reynaers aluminium window and door systems. You will become a trusted technical and commercial partner to our fabricators.
You will be trained extensively at our global headquarters in Duffel, Belgium, after which you will be responsible for delivering training and on-site support throughout North America.
In this role, you are a true ambassador of the Reynaers brand, combining technical expertise, communication skills, and commercial awareness.
Your key responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and hands-on technical training on Reynaers window, door, and façade systems to fabricators, partners, and internal teams.
- Support fabricators digitally and on-site by helping them translate theory into real-life fabrication practices.
- Work with fabrication equipment, including CNC machinery and related software.
- Actively guide and engage groups during training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.
- Develop and adapt training materials for the North American market, including: presentations, manuals and fabrication guidelines, work preparation and best-practice documents
- Contribute to the creation of digital learning content, such as videos, tutorials, and e-learning modules.
- Conduct company presentations, plant tours, and technical demos for customers and partners.
- Work closely with sales and technical teams to support commercial opportunities through technical expertise.
- Travel extensively (approximately 50%) across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Who are you?
- Do you already have a few years of experience as a trainer? If so, we look forward to learning from your expertise!
- You are proficient in working with CNC machines and software.
- You possess excellent communication and educational skills.
- You are fluent in English (knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus).
- You are highly proficient with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You are willing and able to travel frequently across North America
- You are a true team player who is only satisfied when the customer is satisfied.
- Finally, you have a dynamic personality and a commercial mindset.
